Lewis of Sunningdale has developed and forged pioneering field-to-plate partnerships with local farmers, producers and suppliers. Farmers like Hugh Norris, who continues to rear his prized and award-winning pigs in complete freedom just off the Hogg's Back (we kid you not!) near Guildford, Surrey. The meat from these rare breed pigs has a truly unique taste and produces the most superb crackling you'll ever taste. Our policy of sourcing only the finest beef, pork and traditionally-reared prime lamb products wherever possible allows the business to hand-pick the finest quality meat. This ensures total hands-on control throughout the 'supply chain' process, as well as providing full traceability. Beef and steak comes to us exclusively from Mathers of Inverurie, our turkeys from Bramble Farm in West Horsley, chickens from Freemans of Newent, large free-range eggs from Chapel Farm in Normandy (that's Guildford not France!), and all our hams and bacon from either Dorset Farms or Felix of Halifax where it's smoked cured over a bed of salt for over a month - taste the difference in every rasher!
