Terms & Conditions
Contract For Sale

The advertising of products on the website is the way in which we are able to display all the items available to buy through the site.

To maintain our high standards and freshness of product, some fresh products will be limited and at times unavailable. In the event of a particular Product being unavailable we reserve the right to substitute a similar product of equal or higher value or ship the remaining items on your order. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you first.

Your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Lewis of Sunningdale, so prices and stock availability won’t be contractually confirmed until you receive the ‘confirmation of despatch’ email sent once your order has been succesfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.

Prices and stock are not contractually confirmed until you receive the confirmation of despatch sent to the email account provided by you. We reserve the right to withdraw from sale any items that have been priced up incorrectly. Any contracts or agreements formed between yourself and Lewis of Sunningdale through this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Content and photography

The information provided for each product or collection of products is accurate at the time we published the information. Where the product is a collection of many products, such as our hamper ranges, a full list is supplied. We sometimes use props in our photography, in these cases the product description or list clearly defines what is being advertised for purchase.

Card Security

Your bank card details are taken on a secure web page hosted by our online card processor, ProTx.

Before being sent across the internet, your bank card details are encrypted (turned into unidentifiable code) using a method called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means that your bank details cannot be intercepted by anyone else.

You can tell that our bank card details page is using this secure encryption technology because:
1) The address in the address bar of your browser starts with https:// instead of the normal http://.
2) A closed padlock icon will appear at the bottom right of your browser window.
